Hi I am a sports photographer and a keen cyclist. I have photographed the Giro d'Italia, been a staff photographer at the World Police and Fire Games and enjoy photographing all sports at all levels. I completed the Paris Roubaix Challenge in 2017 and L'Etape du Tour in 2018. This year I'm saying closer to home with The Wicklow 200.
Had a great time at last years Fisher Cycle Challenge and looking forward to another visit to the picturesque Fermanagh countryside on Saturday 1 June 2019. There are two routes to choose from a 45 mile leisure cycle and a more challenging 75 mile route with a King and Queen of the Mountain competition. You will not be surprised to see me somewhere near the top when a camera is the last thing you need pointed at you but it does make for good photos. A smile, wave or thumbs up is always welcome and anyone viewing the photos will think you just busted that climb. A few points to consider if you hope to get a good photo. If you see a photographer move to the same side of the road, leave a little distance between you and the rider in front. Smile, grimace or cry but I would suggest you avoid sticking your tongue out. Pretty sure I'll still get a few who do but trust me it doesn't make for a good look. Packed and ready for an early start, I'll see you all at the start line and hopefully on the road. Be safe and enjoy the challenge.
